Swiftech MCP655 / Laing D5 equivalent (NB. this is not the same as the Swiftech MCP655-B which is a fixed speed / lower power variant)
DTC-D5 Design Features:

Located at the bottom of the pump is a potentiometer with 5 preset points. The combination of any voltage input along with control over pump speed allows complete control over pump output. Controlling these variables offers the unique capability to work at the most efficient operating point for your application. The 5 presets work in conjunction with logic programmed into the pumps circuitry.
At preset point #5, 100% of available current reaches the pump motor allowing the pump impeller to spin at maximum RPM of 4,800.
At preset point #1, 20% of available current reaches the pump motor slowing pump speed to 1,800 RPM. These features offer complete operator control over pump speed, flow rate and head pressure.
