Unfortuntaley, due to a supplier issue, the price has gone up for a short time.

The D-Tek Hi-Flow chrome plated brass hose fitting (barb) is used in all new D-Tek waterblocks and components.

O-ring retention groove in the hex that will keep the o-ring in place when tightening which will prevent the o-ring from squeezing out to ensure a perfect seal. The barb end is also slightly increased which gives the option of eliminating hose clamps.
